Update from Patty

Just want to update everyone who is checking in to get an update on Lynne. It is Wednesday night and Lynne is still in the hospital. During the procedure to place a drain in her liver the docs discovered that the tumor was causing an obstruction in the bowel and it needed to be attended to as well. So she will have a procedure tomorrow to place a stent in the bowel to open up the bowel passage. Meanwhile Lynne has been fighting a fever, they don't know the cause but are giving her antibiotics and Tylenol, also she has had difficulty breathing because of yesterdays procedure - so they are giving her heavy duty painkillers and that seems to help.

I could go into much more detail but I am pooped and it is time to get the kids to bed. Keep sending prayers and good thoughts our way. We want to get Lynne home to enjoy these beautiful spring days. Hopefully as soon as tomorrow.

Blessings to all of you who have been supporting us all these weeks and months. I means more than you could know.

Peace,
Patty

Hi Patty,
I cannot imagine your worry and the stress of it all!! Please know that our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you and the children as well as with Lynne during this very very stressful time.
I would imagine, with a fever....perhaps the procedure will be postponed? I pray they are able to get rid of that fever and do the procedures they need to do to keep Lynne as comfortable as possible and home to enjoy hugs,a breath of Springtime air and sunshine.
May God provide you with the wings to get you all back home as quickly as possible!
love and prayers,
Cori

My thanks to you as well for posting this update. I am definitely praying for Lynne and my Mom is too. We talked about Lynne yesterday and I thought of her a lot throughout the day.

I don't know how you manage all of this Patty. Kids and Lynne....or how Lynne has done it all. You two are definitely strong and inspiring people. Please know I keep you in my thoughts too Patty.

Sending healing thoughts to Lynne and {{Hugs}} to you.

Much Love, Carrie

Patty,
Thank you for the update. I know you are exhausted mentally and physically at the end of your day.
I am very glad to get an update and know how Lynne is. I don't want to call your house.
You are both on my mind every day.
Love and prayers to you both.

Thank you for keeping us updated. Please know that many, many prayers are with you, Lynne and the kids. I know the stress you're under just now, and it's important that you get some much needed rest. Please let us know if you need anything. We can gear up the "Feed the Sheep" program. We love you all dearly. Give Lynne a gentle hug for me.
